Scope and acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all orders placed on the website www.trivedistrict.com. The General Terms and Conditions of Sale are accessible at any time on the website and will prevail, where applicable, over any other version or any other contradictory document. The Customer declares that he/she has read and accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale before placing an order. The validation of the order by its confirmation implies acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale in force on the day of the order. The applicable General Terms and Conditions of Sale are those in force on the date of the order. The Customer acknowledges that he/she has the capacity to contract and acquire the products offered on the website www.trivedistrict.com. The Customer acknowledges having received the necessary information on the products and their delivery conditions. The Customer acknowledges having read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and accepts them.

Product information and availability

The products offered for sale are those described on the website www.trivedistrict.com. The products are offered within the limits of available stocks. The products are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy. However, if errors or omissions may have occurred in this presentation, the responsibility of Trive District could not be engaged. The photographs of the products are not contractual. The Customer is invited to refer to the description of each product to know its properties and essential features. Ordering process

The Customer can place an order on the website www.trivedistrict.com. The ordering process is as follows:
  • Selection of the product(s) and addition to the basket
  • Validation of the contents of the basket
  • Identification on the website www.trivedistrict.com if the Customer has not already done so
  • Choice of delivery method
  • Choice of payment method and acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
  • Validation of the order and payment

Prices – Tax – Delivery Cost – Import Charges and Accepted payment methods.

The prices of the products are indicated in NGN, including all taxes. The prices of the products do not include the delivery costs, which are invoiced in addition to the price of the products purchased according to the total amount of the order. The delivery costs will be indicated before the Customer validates his/her order. The prices of the products can be modified at any time by Trive District. The products will be invoiced on the basis of the prices in force at the time of the registration of the order. The payment of the price of the products and the delivery costs can be made by credit card or any other means of payment offered on the website www.trivedistrict.com. The Customer guarantees to Trive District that he/she has the necessary authorizations to use the method of payment chosen for his/her order, when registering the order. Trive District reserves the right to suspend or cancel any order and/or delivery, whatever its nature and level of execution, in the event of non-payment of any sum due by the Customer, in the event of a payment incident, or in the event of fraud or attempted fraud relating to the use of the website www.trivedistrict.com.

Reservation of ownership

The title to and ownership of the Product ordered is passed to customer the moment the Product is dispatched to customer (provided customer may have made full payment of the Product price plus delivery charges and any other charges payable under these Terms, as applicable). Risk of damage or loss to the Product passes to customer on delivery to him/her or to somebody identified by customer to carry or take possession of the Product on his/her behalf. Notwithstanding the passing of title to customer, Trive District reserves the right to take legal action to recover the price of the Product or any other sum due to it from customer, in the event of non-payment by customer.

Terms of delivery

The products are delivered to the delivery address indicated by the Customer during the ordering process. The delivery times indicated on the website www.trivedistrict.com are indicative times corresponding to the average processing and delivery times. Trive District cannot be held responsible for the consequences due to a delay in delivery. In case of delay in delivery, the Customer must contact the customer service by email at info@trivedistrict.com or by phone at +234 812 73 305 41. Trive District will then contact the carrier to start an investigation. An investigation with the carrier can take up to 21 working days. If during this period, the product is found, it will be immediately redirected to the delivery address indicated by the Customer. On the other hand, if the product is not found at the end of the 21 working days of investigation, Trive District will proceed at its expense to a new shipment of the products ordered by the Customer. If the product(s) ordered is/are no longer available, the Customer will be reimbursed for the amount of the product(s) concerned by the loss of the carrier.

Sending of receipt by mail

The Customer receives an invoice by email after the order is confirmed. The invoice is sent to the email address indicated by the Customer when registering his/her personal data. The Customer can also request the sending of the invoice by mail by contacting the customer service by email at

Right of withdrawal – returns, exchanges, refunds

The Customer has a period of 14 days from the receipt of the products to exercise his/her right of withdrawal without having to justify reasons or pay penalties, with the exception, where applicable, of the return costs. If the 14-day period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday, it is extended until the next working day. The Customer must return the product(s) within 14 days of the notification of his/her decision to withdraw. The Customer must return the product(s) in their original packaging, in perfect condition, and accompanied by the invoice. The Customer is responsible for the risks of the return of the product(s). The Customer will be refunded the price of the product(s) purchased and the delivery costs based on the standard delivery rate. The refund will be made within 14 days of the receipt of the product(s) by Trive District. The refund will be made by the same means of payment as that used by the Customer for the initial transaction, unless the Customer expressly agrees to a different means of payment. In any case, this refund will not incur any costs for the Customer. The Customer can also request an exchange of the product(s) ordered. The exchange will be made within the limits of available stocks. The Customer must return the product(s) in their original packaging, in perfect condition, and accompanied by the invoice. The Customer is responsible for the risks of the return of the product(s). The exchange will be made within 14 days of the receipt of the product(s) by Trive District. The information and data concerning the Customer are necessary for the management of his/her order and for the commercial relations between Trive District and the Customer. This information and data are also kept for security purposes, in order to comply with legal and regulatory obligations. Liability

Trive District cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the Internet network, in particular a break in service, an external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses, or any fact qualified as force majeure, in accordance with the jurisprudence of the Nigerian courts. The products offered comply with the Nigerian legislation in force. Trive District cannot be held liable in the event of non-compliance with the legislation of the country where the product is delivered. It is the Customer's responsibility to check with the local authorities the possibilities of importing or using the products or services that he/she intends to order. The photographs and texts reproduced and illustrating the products presented are not contractual. Consequently, the liability of Trive District cannot be engaged in the event of an error in one of these photographs or one of these texts. Trive District cannot be held liable for the non-performance of the contract concluded in the event of stock shortage or unavailability of the product, force majeure, disruption or total or partial strike, in particular of the postal services and means of transport and/or communications, flood, fire. Trive District cannot be held liable for any indirect damage that may arise from the purchase of the products. Trive District's liability will, in any event, be limited to the amount of the order and cannot be held liable for simple errors or omissions that may have remained despite all precautions taken in the presentation of the products. Language of the contract

The language of the contract is English. In the event of a translation of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale into one or more languages, the language of interpretation will be English in the event of a contradiction or dispute over the meaning of a term or a provision.

Applicable Law – Disputes

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to Nigerian law. In the event of a dispute, the Customer must first contact Trive District to obtain an amicable solution. In the absence of an amicable solution, the Customer may bring the dispute before the competent courts. The Customer is informed that he/she can in any event resort to conventional mediation, in particular with the Consumer Mediation Commission or with existing sectoral mediation bodies, or to any alternative dispute resolution method (conciliation, for example) in the event of a dispute. The Customer is informed that he/she can also use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform set up by the European Commission, which provides a simple, efficient, fast and low-cost way to resolve disputes.
